Group 3 : Development of biomaterial producing technology
      (UNIST / Sunghoon Park)

  • Optimization of metabolic pathway, developing high performance strains and mass production technology for conversion of microalgal biomass into platform chemicals and biomaterial.
  • Development of high performance catalyst for biomass conversion to complement the biological processes for producing biofuels and biochemical. Achieving synergy among bacterial metabolic engineering, catalytic processes, and biomass production / pretreatment processes in order to ultimately achieve carbon neutral biomass conversion technology.
